Via Kickstarter I ordered a Titanic INK fountain pen. I used it frequently for writing in my Grand Voyageur of Paper Republic. It gave me so much pleasure.

A year ago I had a stroke, I was paralyzed on my right-hand side. I could not do anything with my leg and arm. During my rehabilitation I was asked to formulate my, possibly unrealistic, goals. So, I told them that I wanted to write with my fountain pen again. After rehabilitation I walk again AND I write again with my INK fountain pen! You can imagine how pleased I am.

I like the minimalist design; swapped in a Bock 076 titanium nib (no markings, my personal preference). I was expecting the magnets to be much stronger, but it still perform well. The pen feels well balanced for the way I write; generally in cursive but print form when writing in all CAPITAL.

The Stillform INK titanium fountain pen is a no-nonsense practical, durable, and minimal pen with a pleasant design. The brushed finish is pleasant for those who appreciate tactile experience, and also helps gripping. The magnet cap is a refreshing feature, especially because it helps to center the pen and cap evenly.

Bock nib speaks for itself, smooth and rigid, while the nib unit leaves variable nib replacement options open. The only part which can be improved is the alignment of the nib to the body, as it doesn’t center to the flat surface. All in all, a very good pen EDC or on the desk.
